Description

The Mystery at the Ski Jump by Carolyn Keene with the inside page printed COPYRIGHT, 1952, BY GROSSET & DUNLAP, INC. Printed in the United States of America.

The Mystery at the Ski Jump was the 29th Nancy Drew book written, out of a total of 175 in the series .The series with the first Nancy Drew Detective mystery in 1930, The Secret of the Old Clock. The Nancy Drew Mystery Stories began in 1930 and ended in 2003. What many people may not realize is that many books for this series were not actually written by the author it claimed. For instance, The Mystery at the Ski Jump was published under the pseudonym Carolyn Keene, but the actual author was ghostwriter Alma Sasse. Huh! Who knew?

This book is in acceptable, vintage condition with no spotting or foxing, but the binding is loose and there is the original owner's name in pencil along the edge. Please see all images in gallery for the details of the condition.

But it is still original and is really fun to have, and a great way for a collector looking to start a collection, because it is priced well.
