This is a gorgeous and mint condition Porcelain and Silver Sardine dish, made by Asprey & Co. of London, England. It is in amazing antique condition, but we left the silver as is, un-buffed, to keep its original value. There are NO nicks or cracks in the porcelain lid or the sardine itself.
Based on the silver hallmark on the base, this was made between 1900-1909. It bears the mark A&Co Asprey London with the number 22141 stamped below the mark. This mark shows that it is silver-plate.
DIMENSIONS: Plate 6⅝" long x 5⅝" wide x ¼" high. Top 5" long x 4⅛" wide x ½" tall (without sardine).
