This is a great old medal from Belgium honoring their 100th Anniversary as an independent country. The ribbon is grosgrain and has the country's colours of red, black and yellow along the sides with the main colour being white.
The medal itself is made of a white metal, possibly silver, and shows the three profile portraits of past kings including Leopold I and II. At the top of the medal is a crown with a loop that attaches to the ribbon. The back of the medal has the dates 1830-1930.
DIMENSIONS: Medal diameter is 1¼" and the ribbon is 1½" x 1⅜" with the total length including ribbon being 3¼" long. See all photos in gallery to view condition.
